Zimbabwe: Morgen Komichi fined $200 for disrupting ZEC press conference & calling 2018 election results fake

The vice president of Zimbabwe’s main opposition MDC, Morgen Komichi fined $200 for disrupting a electoral commission press conference on August 2 and calling the 2018 election results fake.

Komichi was convicted and fined on Friday, March 15 for violating the electoral act by Harare magistrate Ruramai Chitumbura.

On the day Komichi accused Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), chairperson Priscilla Chigumba of being a liar.
