Zimbabwe’s finance minister appoints Monetary Policy Committee

Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube appointed a nine-member monetary policy committee (MPC) on 10 September 2019.

PovoNews.com previously reported that Mthuli Ncube banned the multicurrency regime and re-introduced the Zimbabwe dollar on 24 June 2019.

The MPC members are Marjorie Ngwenya, Kumbirai Katsande, Douglas Munatsi, Theresa Moyo, Eddie Cross, Ashok Chakravarti, John Mangudya, Jesimen Chipika and Kupikile Mlambo.
